Lydia

Lydia was the first person to be baptised my Paul, she was baptised in Europe. But her real name was not Lydia,
sometimes people called her Lydian.  She worked in one of these industries which is know as purple dye  trade.
She had a large house and she lived with her family , servants and her slaves.
Lydia was a God-fearing woman who practised her religion devoutly with the Jews.

Early Christianity.

In the early Christians years the Roman Soldiers murdered and stoned the Christians for believeing in God.
Chtistains had to pray in secret rooms or in caves so they would not get caught by the Romans.
Christainty is the most popular religion in the world today and it has been around for 2000 years.

The Long Weekend.

Nisha's Birthday Party.

On Sunday at eleven o'clock  I went to Nisha's eleventh Birthday Party.
When I arrived at the Oamaru Club, I saw Nisha, Georgia, Vince, Jessika, Ash and Cushla. Aria was not at the party because she was in Dunedin.

After a while we walked to the Oamaru Gardens and we did a mini scavenger hunt.

We ran around finding clues. At the end of the scavenger hunt we had to find three types of chocolate hidden in the bushes. Then we went over to the playground and started playing on the equipment.  

We walked back to the Oamaru Club and we sat down and waited for the food. We ate Fish'n'chips with nuggets. Then when we finished eating the fish'n'chips we got to eat ice cream sundaes and got to decorate them with chocolate sauce, chocolate hail and rainbow sprinkles. 

After awhile Nisha got to blow out the candles on her birthday cake. Then we had to leave at 1.30. 

I had GREAT time at Nisha's eleventh birthday party and I REALLY enjoyed it.

Our NEW Rat Spaghetti

Our New Rat Spaghetti!!!

Spaghetti is our new rat. The reason why we got a new rat was because our other rat Freddy died. Our new rat looks so cute. He has brown fur and he runs around really fast. I think Spaghetti's personality is cheeky and smart. I think Eddy likes our new rat because they get along very well. I think the new rat is VERY cute and very hyper.

A Day in The Life Of a Teacher

I see children pulling each others hair, fighting over pencils and yelling.
"QUIET!" I shouted!!!
All of a sudden the room became quiet.
I look around and a paper plane hit my head and landed on my table.
I stood up and took the the paper plane off my table.
I  SCREAMED!! "WHO THREW THIS?!"
I thought in my head.......
"Could this day get any worse?"

Pentecost

One evening the Deciples were in a room praying. The doors were locked Jesus stood in front of them and said "peace be with you. Jesus showed them the wounds on his hands . The Deciples were filled with joy when they saw Jesus. Then he said "As the father has sent me, so I send you". Then Jusus breathed and said "Reseive the Holy Spirit".

Anzac Poem

The crosses stand silent
As the Poppies  gracefully dance in the wind.The lives of of the soldiers  are gone
But the memories of them are kept in our minds.
