Book review

Book review
This book I have been reading is fiction.
This book has Adventure and it based in the war.
And its by Michael Morpurgo Farm Boy.
And the book is Illustrated by Michael Foreman.

This book is about a boy when he was young he would go to his Grandfathers farm. But his Grandfather had a secret that he kept all these years.

the characters in this book are the Boy and the Grandfather.

What I like about this book was that is was very touching
and that is it was set up in the war.
What i didn't like about the story is that it didn't have much describing words.

This book has love, family and friendship because the boy
 helps his grandfather.
And I think this book is very readable for eight and up kids.

My First Two Weeks in the Hub

Challenges-
The workshops have been hard for me because we have to move around
and REMEMBER our workshops. I need to remember to look on my device each morning to see what workshops I am in.

Goals-
This year I want to try to get a Full License in the Hub Learner Licenses.
And also try to be not too shy.

Highlights-
My highlights are starting at St Joseph's School
and meeting my new friends.

Looking Forward To-
This year I am looking forward to playing hockey
and E.O.T.C later in the year.

PERSONAL WRITING

Sunday

One sunny morning I went to the harbor with my two
friends, Stefanie, Sylvia and their Dad.
We went to watch sail racing, but it got so boring!
So, we went to the harbor playground.
We went on the flying fox, swing and slide and that was more fun than watching the sail racing.
After awhile we went to the Farmers Market, but we didn't seem to like anything so we went to get McDonalds to have lunch.
I got a cheese burger and a fizzy drink.
After that we went back to their house and we each got a tip-top ice cream, then we made silly videos.
A few hours later, I had to go home.
And that was my Sunday!
